The "CA" in CA Yacht Sales International stands for Central Agent. The Central Agent is the agent who contracts a Central/Exclusive Listing to sell a yacht. They have a fiduciary responsibility to represent the boat ethically and to disclose any pertinent information to anyone interested in the boat – including other salespeople or brokers representing a potential buyer. At CA Yacht Sales International we believe the Central Agent is the key to selling the boat. Our associates average twenty years experience selling yachts. They must be committed to following the best practices we have developed:

Over the years many of my clients have become repeat customers, doing multiple transactions through me. Repeat business doesn’t come easy in any industry. My goal made years ago was to treat people better than they expect and beat expectations.
Having been a yacht broker and/or salesman for both new and used yachts in Southern California for nearly twenty years I understand what you are looking for: trust, integrity and candor. You need someone who is looking for your best interest first and foremost. Simple core values. Even if you never do business with us, my hope is that you would still refer your family and friends because we treat each customer as our only customer. Since starting in this business in 1988 I have sold nearly 1000 new and brokerage boats.
I have the experience that can get the job done right. Yes, many deals are easy. After all, everyone wants a boat. However, in every transaction there can be a critical time when the experience level of your broker may become apparent - and at that point you will be grateful for choosing CA Yacht Sales International.

Having grown up boating in New Jersey’s weather shortened season, coming to Southern California seemed like landing in “Paradise.” How great is it to be able to go boating 12 months out of the year!
Brendan has spent more than the last 20 years spreading his enthusiasm for boating to people at one of Southern California’s largest new boat dealerships and continues now to provide an even greater level of Customer Satisfaction with his professional partners at CA Yacht Sales.
Earning trust and building relationships over the years in our small community of boaters remains Brendan’s mission. Helping people enjoy their boats turns prospects into friends and repeat Buyers. Give Brendan a chance to help you with your boating dreams today.

I was born in San Francisco to two parents, George, Sr., and Joan. Having floated in water for nine months, all I could think about once I was breathing air was how to get on the water once again!
It was years before my first chance came about, I remember it well, Lake Berryessa 13 years old, Glen L kit 16 footer with a poor running Evinrude 35 HP. I skied all weekend and knew then I would find a way to get my own and do nothing but go boating!
Fortune had another plan for me. I graduated high school and it wasn’t too long afterwards that I was slepping along with a very cute daughter and a full time job which killed my river bum plans, I thought, for the next 18-22 years. I eventually got into building furniture with a partner, who, as luck would have it, had a beat 1946 Steelcraft 26 footer that needed some (a lot) of work. With the promise of getting it running for the use of the boat I was on the river and the eventual start of my life working on and selling boats and meeting boaters who loved it as much as I did.
I started out in the California Delta in the mid-70s, moved to a place I loved (Seattle) in the late-70s, and moved back to the delta to the same dealership I had moved from in the mid-80s and from there onto the San Francisco Bay. With three daughters I moved to Southern California to continue in my passion of meeting boaters and finding them the next perfect boat. Over the years I’ve come to love boats and the people who boat even more. I enjoy finding that next perfect boat and seeing the smiles on their faces on the day they take delivery. I look forward to you in getting comfortable with your new boat and all that comes with that friendship.

I have been a boater most of my adult life. My first big boat was a Santana 30 purchased in 1979. Boat ownership has been a part of my life since then. Due to chance meeting with a friend, I learned about the opportunities in the boating industry. That led to starting a new sales career in yacht sales in 2000. The relationships formed then led to my association with CA Yacht Sales.
My first priority is to determine your boating wants and needs. We will take the time and effort necessary to find the best boat for you. I will use my experience as a boat owner and knowledge of the current market to be sure you get the best value in the boat you select. You can count on my dedication to help you through the negotiation process, sea trial, survey, slip selection and legal paper work. The ultimate goal is to help you become a happy and satisfied boat owner.
Our relationship will continue past delivery day. The best testament to this statement is the fact that over half of my business during the past two years have come from previous customers. My goal is to exceed your expectations.
